"How deeply you touch another life, is how rich your life is." Sadhguru
Volunteers are unpaid. Not because they are worthless, but because they are priceless.
Volunteers are the backbone of every event, major or otherwise. Without them, much of what is achieved would not be possible.
It is our aim to offer a professional service to our audiences at any event we produce. The support of a fabulous team of volunteers helps us create a memorable event, both for you our volunteers and for our audiences. We do therefore ask our volunteers for 100% commitment to service before signing up. That way we feel we will be offering our audiences a better world during the event – and hopefully they will take that energy out into their every day lives.
Our volunteer roles are not complex, however, they are very important. The roles usually include registration, merchandise sales, stage décor set up and set down, back of house support, food runner and ushers. We love big smiles, we love kind and generous hearts, we love you to have had some experience.
All tasks will be allocated before the event, and you will be advised of your role usually about 1 week prior to the event, including arrival time, departure time etc. We do expect our volunteers to work as a team.
Our policy is to allow our volunteers to attend the event by way of gratitude. However, when on shift, we expect you to be at your designated place and ready to be of service. This may mean you miss a little bit of the event during set up and preparation, intermission, and at the closing of the event. Again, we request you agree to this before signing up as a volunteer. You will be required to work through any breaks. Of course there will be a break for you, usually during the workshop time.
Further Information will be forwarded once we receive your expression of interest.
Please note, NOT all applicants are guaranteed a volunteering role and NOT ALL events require volunteers.
We look forward to hearing from you, and recommend, even for your own learnings, to watch Sadhguru on volunteering.
